Cincinnati

Dear Journal,
You will not believe what my parents told us, we are going on a trip around Ohio! My mom told us to pack up and hop in the car so we could start driving. It was a long drive, but I didn't mind because I was to excited. Our first stop was Cincinnati. When we got to Cincinnati, my family and I stayed at the Kingsgate Marriot Conference Hotel at the university of Cincinnati. My sister Rylee actually liked our Hotel. I'm saying that because Rylee is REALLY picky about everything. Here is a picture of our Hotel.

Cincinnati

After we got our stuff unpacked at our Hotel, my mom and dad decided to go to BB Riverboats. It was so exciting! We had a great time and me and Lindsey didn't even fight with each other, and that was pretty shocking to my parents. After going to BB Riverboats, we went on a Able Scotsman tour to see the historical part of Cincinnati. We saw all these old homes, and I didn't even know any of the old people who lived in the houses. My mom really enjoyed the tour. It was funny because my mom and dad were kind of mad at me, Lindsey and Rylee for joking around. I couldn't really argue with parents on that one though.
Lindsey was complaining about being hungry, but I guess I was hungry too. We all decided on a restaurant called Scott's BBQ restaurant. I love that place now. There was a funny coincidence. It was that our waiters name was Scott! Here is a picture of what I ordered.

Cincinnati

My mom enjoyed the historic tour so we went to see more historic homes and sites of greater Cincinnati. Me and my family had a great time in Cincinnati.
After that, we took our last stop at the Cincinnati Art Museum. We saw all these cool pictures and sculptures. My favorite was something that is hard to explain. It had all theses twists and curls and it was colored bright orange.

Cleveland

Our second stop is Cleveland. My family and I went to stay at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel . We all really liked our Hotel. My family and I stayed at our Hotel for a while and just hung out together. I really enjoyed just staying at our Hotel because my Brother was home from football and work so he was there, unlike usual. Here are some pictures of our Hotel.

My family and I went to the Ohio Historical society. We saw really old stuff in that place, but it was awesome. I had a great time with family at the Ohio Historical society. You will not believe where my dad took us next! Geauga Lakes Wild Water Kingdom ! I was so surprised! Luckily we all brought our bathing suits. We all went on this one ride that we went on a raft, and we twirled and splashed. We got some drinks and shared fries. Here is a picture of Geauga Lakes Wild Water Kingdom.

Cleveland

We all were hungry after going to Geauga Lakes Wild Water Kingdom. So we went to a restaurant called John Q's Steakhouse . I got ribs but I tried some of my mom and dads steaks. The were yummy! We all went for dessert at a place called Dari Delite. I got a Spongebob Squarepants popsicle. My family and I had an AMAZING time in Cleveland.We are all really tired from our trip so we are going to sleep.

Akron

Dear Journal,
Our third stop is Akron. My family and I went to go look in the National Inventors Hall-Fame. I saw some objects and peoples name by them. We went to the JC Penny that is called the Chapel Hill Mall. I got some summer shorts and a shirt that said Akron on it. I am so excited to wear them! The only bad part about going to the mall with my family, is that I have to go in all of my sisters shops and only one of my shops. But I am just happy I got something. My family and I went to go see a cavern called The Old Fashioned Railroad Car. It takes after its name a lot, it is totally old fashioned and of course it is a car. It was dark in that place. We all wanted to see a play at the Akron Civic Theater. At some parts of the play we saw I didn't know how they did some 'magical' things. We got some popcorn and just sat back and enjoyed the play. Whenever I see a movie or a play, I'm always tired after. My sister Lindsey didn't feel that well so we went to go spend the night at my Grandma's house because she lives in Akron.

Toledo

Dear Journal,
Our family's 4th stop is Toledo! We first went to The Toledo Museum Of Art. There was paintings of all sorts: colerful ones, black and white ones, pictures that had splatterd paint on it, and much more. Next I thought it would be cool to see something really old. So we went to Perry's Victory National Memorial. It was so cool. Here is a picture of Perry's Victory National Memorial.

Toledo

My sister said that she wanted to stop and look in this cavern called Perry's Cave. It was the first time I was in a cave . It was SO cool! It was dark but we had flashlights. It was not just a cave though, it had a fun kids center, like it had miniature golf, and a gift shop, and some really fun stuff. We were all getting hungry so my Dad decided to go to a restaurant called Manos Greek Restaurant. It was SO yummy. I wasn't to sure if I liked most of the food on the menu so I just got chicken fingers. My family and I had a great time in Toledo. But the only bad part is leaving. I guess though I have to go to bed some time.

Columbus

Dear Journal,
My family's very last stop is Columbus! I am so excited! I really enjoyed the play from before so I wanted to see another one. I picked out one that was called the Palace Theater. This was one of the best plays I had ever seen. The actors did an amazing job. Here are some pictures of the Palace Theater we all went to.

I saw this really coool lake from far away but I didn't know anything about it, like what it was called and stuff. So my dad drove us all to go see it. We found out that it was called Mirror Lake. It was called that because you could see a reflection of yourself and the fountain in the middle of the lake. This person who gave us all the info, told us that in the winter, they put lights all around the lake and some on the fountain and it looks so pretty. He showed us some pictures of the lake in the lake in the winter, and I agree, it was so pretty. Try to guess where my dad took us next! Gameworks! I got a couple of DS games and one of them was called Cooking Mama. In Gameworks, I compared the store to Best Buy because you could play Rockband in the store. So of course we played it. I was the singer. I was going crazy when I was singing. We were having a blast. Because everyone was in such a great mood, my dad decided to take us to Graeters Ice Cream! Most of my family got cookie dough. And so did I.

Columbus

The most worst part about going on a trip is that you never want to leave. And that's how I feel right now. But eventually you have to leave. And that time is now. My family and I had a great time in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, Toledo and Columbus. I have to go home so by!
